Consulting & Supervision Services

These services are offered separately from Secure Connection Counseling’s standard clinical practice and are designed specifically for mental health professionals — therapists, supervisees, and clinicians seeking to deepen their skills in couples work, EFT, and relational therapy.

I work with clinicians at all stages of their professional development, from pre-licensed interns navigating their first complex cases to experienced therapists seeking advanced consultation in betrayal trauma and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Services Available:

  • ✓  Couples Counseling & Betrayal Consultation
  • ✓  EFT Consulting & Supervision

Couples Counseling & Betrayal Consultation

Who This Is For

This consultation is designed for therapists who work with couples and want expert guidance on navigating complex relational dynamics — particularly cases involving infidelity, betrayal trauma, attachment injuries, or chronic disconnection.

What We Cover

Sessions focus on case conceptualization, treatment planning, and clinical interventions for couples stuck in negative cycles. Special emphasis is placed on betrayal recovery — helping clinicians guide couples through disclosure, rebuilding trust, and processing attachment injuries.

Format & Availability

Consultation is available individually or in small groups, offered virtually or in person. Sessions are tailored to your current caseload and clinical questions. Reach out to discuss scheduling and availability.

EFT Consulting & Supervision

EFT Case Consultation

Whether you are newly trained in EFT or an experienced practitioner navigating a particularly complex case, consultation provides a space to think through your work with a clinician who has applied EFT extensively with couples across a wide range of presenting concerns.

Sessions focus on case conceptualization, identifying the negative cycle, tracking attachment emotions, and planning interventions — all grounded in the EFT model.

EFT Supervision

For therapists working toward EFT certification through ICEEFT, I offer structured supervision that meets certification requirements. Supervision includes live review of session recordings, detailed feedback on EFT stages and steps, and guidance on developing your unique therapeutic voice within the model.

Individual and small group supervision formats are available, offered virtually to accommodate clinicians across locations.

Why Work With Me

My approach to EFT supervision is collaborative, warm, and deeply rooted in attachment theory. I believe that the best supervision mirrors the therapeutic process itself — creating safety for the supervisee to explore, take risks, and grow.

I bring the same relational attunement I use with couples into my work with supervisees, helping you not only master the model but embody it.

Clinical Supervision for MFT Interns & Associates

What to Expect from MFT Supervision

1

We begin with a consultation call to discuss your licensure goals, current caseload, and what you are looking for in a supervisor.

2

We establish a clear supervision agreement outlining goals, format, frequency, and documentation to meet board requirements.

3

Regular individual or group supervision sessions — case review, skill development, ethical guidance, and professional growth.

4

I provide all required supervision documentation and hour verification to support your licensure application.

5

Many supervisees continue our relationship as consultation after licensure — the professional growth does not have to stop at the license.
