Biography

Andrew is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who works with couples and individuals seeking deeper emotional connection and clarity. His work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients understand relational patterns, access underlying emotions, and build more secure, responsive relationships. Andrew believes healing happens through connection and within the context of relationships.

Andrew’s path into therapy was shaped by both personal and relational experiences. Growing up, he navigated his parents’ divorce and mental health challenges within his family, which sparked a deep interest in relationships and emotional resilience. In his own marriage, Andrew and his wife have intentionally integrated EFT principles into their relationship, experiencing firsthand how emotional attunement and vulnerability can transform patterns of disconnection into greater safety and closeness.

Andrew also integrates elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support self-compassion, flexibility, and values-based living. He has a particular interest in men’s mental health and works with individuals navigating religious or spiritual crisis. Andrew’s style is collaborative, grounded, and relational. Outside of therapy, he finds balance through music—especially drums and percussion—cycling, and spending time outdoors, reflecting his belief in presence, connection, and whole-person well-being.
