Secure Connection Counseling is Southern Utah’s premier relationship-focused clinic. Each clinician is formally trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which is the most highly researched and proven effective couples therapy model in the field. We also have training and understanding in various other therapy models (especially the up and coming Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), or “parts work”.
David is the owner and clinical supervisor. He has a strong reputation for helping couples heal from even the most severe relational struggles. He carefully selects and hires newer therapists that he can train and supervise in the techniques he had found success in. “I have every confidence in the care that each therapist at my practice can give,” he says. “I trust them with my reputation. I’d trust them with my own loved ones!”
If David’s caseload is full, he will offer you an opportunity to get with one of his associates or interns (depending on a number of factors: requested gender, insurance, availability, desire for telehealth or in-person sessions, etc.). He supervises all cases closely, which offers clients two sets of eyes on their case.
While Secure Connection Counseling largely focuses on couples therapy, each clinician has has the ability to see individuals (children, teens, and adults of all ages) and families. Contact us for a free consultation to see if we can meet your needs. If not, we will happily facilitate a referral to another clinician in the community.
